How to install

Download the ZIP file.
Extract it. You get a folder named savefold-chrome-1.0.0.
In Chrome, open chrome://extensions
Turn on Developer mode (top right).
Choose “Load unpacked”.
Select the extracted folder.

Then click the SaveFold icon in the toolbar and connect it to your account. Keep the folder where it is: Chrome loads the extension from it.

Developer mode is needed only because this beta is not in the Chrome Web Store yet. Chrome may remind you that a developer-mode extension is installed.

A manually installed beta does not update itself. When a new version is published here, download it and load it again.

What the extension can see

Only the page you are on, and only when you save it: its address and title.
No browsing history, and no page you do not save.
No passwords and no form contents.
It signs in with its own token, which you can revoke at any time in Settings → Devices.

Safari for macOS

Mac build required. Safari needs its own app, built, signed and tested on a Mac; until that exists there is no Safari download.
